Totally Yours, Mary

Discovering the  Life-Changing Power of Marian Devotion

January 31 - February 2, 2020

Sister Maris Stella Vaughan of “The Wild Goose” Series

“What does it mean to be totally Mary’s?”
“What does this mean for me in my daily life?”

Join us Friday afternoon (4pm), January 31 - Sunday, February 2 (untill 1pm), 2020 at Marytown in Libertyville. Registration will open October 20th at Noon for this wonderful event that includes meals and overnight accommodations at the beautiful shrine. Come as an overnighter or commuter. The Importance of Eucharistic Adoration

Pope Francis leads Benediction outside the Basilica of St. Mary Major at the conclusion of the Corpus Christi procession in Rome May 30. (CNS photo/Paul Haring)The importance of Eucharistic Adoration is shown in the fact that the Church has a ritual that regulates it: the Rite of Eucharistic Exposition and Benediction. This is an extension of the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which occurs in every Mass: “Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.” Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament flows from the sacrifice of the Mass and serves to deepen our hunger for Communion with Christ and the rest of the Church.  The Rite concludes with the ordained minister blessing the faithful with the Blessed Sacrament.  - taken from the USCCB website

in the Church

Open to all ages! Join us from 7-8pm for this holy hour each week. We invite you to come pray along with music & a reflection lead by Josh Goodman, write in a journal, or just be present in the moment.
